Sanja Schuelke

MEP Candidate, Environmental Policy Institute, Grenfell Campus

Sanja is from Bretten, Germany and is currently working for the Green Party in Germany. She recently graduated from the Environmental Policy program at Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook. Previously, she graduated from the University of Stuttgart, Germany with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Political Science, Sociology and Methodology of Social Sciences). Sanja conducted research on international water governance, energy governance/ policy, and the relationship between the economy and the environment. Her primary research focused is on public environmental expenditure in times of economic downturn with a focus on the European Union. She graduated from her Masters program in 2014.
