Graduate Research Awards Available from Harris Centre

The Strategic Partnership Harris Centre Student Research Fund will provide four awards of $5,000 each for graduate research. The fund opens Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. The Harris Centre is looking for projects that relate to public policy issues in Newfoundland and Labrador’s social and economic development.

The Harris Centre encourages applicants from all faculties and disciplines. Applicants must be current graduate students enrolled at Memorial University and have the recommendation of their academic supervisor. For more information and to apply, visit www.mun.ca/harriscentre

Since its inception in 2005, the fund has supported 15 research projects for students in 7 different schools, faculties and departments. Below is a list of research topics that may help guide the preparation of research proposals.
