Leanna is a Ph.D. student at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University in the Transdisciplinary Sustainability program. Her research interests focus on understanding how architecture, planning and policy interact with the socio-economic and environmental contexts where they are introduced. Her Ph.D. research is investigating fences as mechanisms of socio-spatial production in Canadian mining communities. She has an MA in Environmental Policy (Grenfell Campus, Memorial University) and a BA in Architectural Studies (Design) and History from the University of Toronto.
