On the Move Partnership in the Field

In December 2014, members of the On the Move Partnership held community consultations in Clarenville and Long Harbour. These sessions were attended by key stakeholders in each respective region. Each session consisted of a presentation by Heather Hall, which looked at the implications of the NL’s nickel processing sector, and Diane Royal, which examined perspectives of NL’s transshipment sector, which was followed by a round table discussion. The consultations were well received and new connections were made.

On Friday, January 30, the NL Component of the On the Move Partnership will be having their annual general meeting. This serves as a great opportunity for the entire team to get together and discuss research findings, literature gaps, and new ideas to consider. For more information, click here.
