Rural Resilience researchers visited the Northern Peninsula Oct. 22-24. Master of Arts in Environmental Policy students Leanna Butters, Seth Eledi and Obafemi Okusipe conducted research on the impacts of the Great Northern Peninsula Heritage Network member organizations on community and regional sustainability. The sites involved in their project include Torrent River Salmon Interpretation Centre and Nature Park, French Shore Historical Society and Grenfell Heritage Properties. Leanna and Kelly Vodden also took part in an interview related to the On the Move project and their research on the community impacts of mobile work on Iceberg Radio, a four day community radio event broadcast from Grenfell Interpretive Centre in St. Anthony.
