Knowledge Mobilization Events Across NL

There are several knowledge mobilization events that have occurred recently that Rural Resilience researchers have been a part of, as well as several upcoming sessions. On April 26, Vodden, Jean, Butters, and Khattab in partnership with the Canadian Home Builders Association hosted a forum on housing and the mobile workforce in Newfoundland and Labrador. This event brought together industry professionals, researchers, government officials and other stakeholders to discuss current trends in housing related to mobility. More recently, on June 10, Minnes hosted a drinking water workshop in Corner Brook, with a St. John’s session taking place June 13. Later this month, on June 21, Vodden will be providing a presentation titled Regionalism as a Development Strategy at the Liminus 2016 conference in Gros Morne, which is open to the public.
